2016 Pacific and Ancient Modern Language Association conference presentation: "All Your Recursivity Are Belong to Us: Inviting Video Games into First-Year Writing"

I'm thrilled to report that I presented my first pedagogical talk at a scholarly conference today! This presentation, the result of a syllabus I developed for teaching developmental writing classes for the City Colleges of Chicago using vintage video games as texts, was very warmly received by a large crowd at the PAMLA conference in beautiful Pasadena, CA.
