I helped coordinate a terrific conference this weekend with the Carsey-Wolf Center on the subject of U.S. Newsfilm, specifically the archival efforts put forth by a fascinating variety of scholars and librarians in an effort to preserve the audiovisual record of news programming from several different decades.
