Digital Humanities: Mad Dogs and Working Dogs - Man's Best Friend and the Naturalist Novel

My first digital humanities project, Mad Dogs and Working Dogs: Man's Best Friend and the Naturalist Novel, was begun in 2016 during my Ph.D., and is ongoing. It currently consists of two digital essays "Mad Dogs and Steam Engines" and "The Pride of Trace and Trail," as well as an extensive visual archive of photographs, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, handbills, posters, and other printed ephemera from the period of American literary Naturalism.
